Top Film & TV Apps in Qatar: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Film & Television app market in Qatar witnessed varied performance trends across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Cinépolis Gulf from Cinemas de la Republica SA de CV showed minimal movement with weekly downloads at 2 and active users at 1 at the end of October.

CGV, published by CJ CGV Co.ltd, maintained a low weekly download rate, starting at 2 in early October and slightly decreasing to 1 by late December. Active users also declined from 3 to 1 over the same period.

Golden Screen Cinemas experienced a stable user base, starting with 7 active users at the beginning of the quarter, and ending with 5 by the end of December. Downloads were minimal, peaking at 3 initially and then tapering to 1.

Reel Cinemas by Emaar Technologies saw fluctuating weekly downloads, with a notable spike to 23 in the week before Christmas. Active users remained relatively high, peaking at 77 in late December.

Lastly, TicketNew: Book Movie Tickets from Orbgen Technologies Pvt. Ltd. had a consistent download pattern, peaking at 8 in mid-November. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter with 15.
